Excel to PDF FAQs

Will it match Excel exactly?

Basic fonts, cell fills, borders, merged cells, dimensions and number formats are supported. Browser font metrics and pagination can differ. Charts, pivot tables and conditional formatting require Excel export. Formula results must already be saved in the workbook.

How are large sheets handled?

Readable pages keeps at least 70% scale and splits wide sheets between columns and long sheets between rows. Merged cells stay together. A3 landscape gives more space. Limits: 60,000 cells per sheet and 120 PDF pages.

Are files uploaded or watermarked?

Files remain in the browser. Libraries load from a CDN. No watermark, logo, website address or advertising is added to the PDF.

What is included?

Visible sheets in workbook order, visible rows/columns, and one rectangular print area when set. Saved repeated title rows are supported. Output is image-based, so text is not selectable. Print headers/footers, manual page breaks and advanced Excel print settings are not reproduced.

Can I use old XLS files?

Open XLS in Excel and save as XLSX before using this converter.
